Brandes, a former singer with The Metropolitan Opera in New York, has performed in major opera houses and concert halls in the United States and worldwide. Greenwood, organist and pianist at Christ Lutheran Church in Hilo, has performed in a wide range of churches and concert halls throughout the United States in his career of more than 30 years.

“This music of the ‘journey’ serves as a guide to the audience through several centuries in time, locations mythical and real, and many styles of opera, lied, chanson and plainsong chant,” said Brandes. Selections from Samuel Barber’s Hermit Songs, and Hugo Wolf’s Morike-Lieder will be featured along with works of Mozart, Schubert and Fauré.
